Michele Bachmann is the Executive Director of Skyline United Nations Hammarskjöld Society & Fellowship and Wallenberg Society in New York. Bachmann is a former member of Congress for 8 years and was known for leading the Congressional opposition to Obamacare. Bachmann ran for President in 2012, appeared in 15 television Republican Presidential Debates, and the only Republican woman in American history to win a presidential contest. Prior to Michele’s time in public office, she worked as a federal tax attorney. Michele started a health care business with her husband Marcus (to whom she has been married 40 years). Michele was part of starting the first k-12 charter school in the US. She spearheaded educational reform in Minnesota which led the state to dump its “common core” standards. Together they reared 5 biological children and 23 foster children.


Danny Danon

Israel’s U.N. Ambassador

Ambassador Danny Danon became Israel’s 17th Permanent Representative to the United Nations in October 2015.
Danny Danon was born in Israel in 1971. He completed his IDF service with the rank of Lieutenant and served as Overall Commander of the Marva volunteer program.
Danon holds a B.A. in International Relations, F.I.U. (Magna Cum Laude), an M.A. Public Policy and Public Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and also studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Law School. He is married and the father of three.
He served among others as Chairman of World Likud, Member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors, Member of the Zionist Executive of W.Z.O. and Chairman of the World Betar Executive.
Danny Danon was a Member of Knesset from February 2009 until August 2015. He served as Deputy Speaker of the 18th Knesset, as Chair of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, and among others as a member of the Labor, Welfare and Health Committee, House, Constitution, Law and Justice, Foreign Affairs and Defense, Education, Culture, and Sports Committee, and Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs, as well as on the Committee on the Status of Women and Gender Equality and the Committee on the Rights of the Child.
Danon served as Deputy Minister of Defense from March 2013 until July 2014. In May 2015 he was appointed Minister of Science, Technology, and Space, serving until his appointment in August 2015 as Israel Ambassador to the United Nations.
